ask me about one twenty minutes from home and suddenly I’m looking at my shoes 💀

I almost commented “I wish we had this here.” We DO have it here.

and not everyone has a museum nearby. I know that too.
but I didn’t even check the hours of the one near me.
I was waiting for a perfect cultural outing with a perfect outfit and a free Saturday.
meanwhile I can spend an hour scrolling photos of museums across the ocean.

maybe “culture” sounds like homework when someone else chooses it for us.
but I can go with one question: what object here tells a story I’ve never heard?
if I don’t like the exhibition, at least I’ll know. if I do, I’ll take a friend next time.
