Do you have to move abroad to succeed?

Tata FrikyKossi got a visa and the family group chat sounds like he won a trophy 🏆09:14

Tata Frikyabsolutely. I'm happy for you. But auntie said, “now you can become somebody.”

were you nobody yesterday?

Tata Frikysometimes leaving really does open doors you can't find here.true. pay, safety, training, networks. pretending those gaps don't exist would be dishonest.

and staying can be a brave choice too. or simply the choice available to you.

Tata Frikyexactly. also a plane ticket does not include a guaranteed dream life, a flat, or a warm winter coat 💀

I know people building useful things here. I know people who left and are thriving. I know people who left and are lonely.

none of those stories cancels the others.

maybe the question isn't “stay or go?” but “what opportunities do we need, and how can we create more of them here?”

Tata Frikyplease. he's already carrying two suitcases.

if you stay, your ambition counts. if you leave, your connection to home doesn't expire.

here's what young workers say they need from a first job.

Kossi, bring me a fridge magnet. Success can wait.
